It's that time of week again, where writers everywhere spend their Thursdays linking up thirteen random things that might be funny, silly, sad or just plain fun to read. All of it helps you to get to know the authors just a little bit better.
If you want to make a list on your blog, then leave a comment and I will link to you.
For my blog today I thought it would be fun to list my favorite chick flicks--the movies that pulled at my heartsrings so much that I could watch them over and over again.
1 The Princess Bride
2 Nim's Island
3 When Harry Met Sally
4 What a Woman Wants
5 Hitch
6 You've Got Mail
7 Ever After
8 Splash
9 Pursuit of Happiness
10 Twilight
11 Harry Potter
12 Pretty Woman
13 Star Wars --there is a love story in there somewhere isn't there? I'd hate to have to strike this one from my list.

I'm not a *huge* chick flick fan, but some of these rock. But I have to know, Harry Potter?
Harry Potter still has a love story unfold in it and I think I just find his magical world fascinating. I couldn't resist adding the Harry Potter movie.
This is a great list! You know, I haven't seen Nim's Island. I'll have to check it out.
That's a great list. Good to see some of my go to movies on there. I think there's only one on the list I haven't seen.
*happy sigh* I love "The Princess Bride".
And yes, I think "Star Wars" is a love story.
I like Princess Bride, Harry Potter, Twilight and Star Wars!
*hugs*

I adore the Princess Bride!
Hey you got a couple of my favorites in there too, Missy!
Great list! In fact, I may dig out my copy of The Princess Bride now.
We have divergent taste in movies, for sure, but the Princess Bride is universal. I love that movie.
Fun List ... I did movies this week also :) must be something in the air.
Must be. lol

My husband and I were only dating when we first saw Princess Bride in the theater. At the end of the movie we turned to each other with tears in our eyes and said, simultaneously, "What a great movie!" We'll celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary this year and it's still our all time favorite movie, although Secondhand Lions is a new close #2.
Aww Jan! That is such a sweet story, thank you for sharing! Now, I have to see Secondhand Lions too. :)
